Someone please tell me how on earth your pant size can go up if you’ve been dieting and sexercizing?!

Well, you can probably tell that I’ve not been around much. A lot has happened to me and my family the past few months and as a result, I’ve not been online as much as I would have liked.

That being said, mental health is as big of an issue to maintain as well as weight. Being away from the internet has certainly helped my mental state a bit: I’ve been busy trying to maintain my mind and other aspects like my social life and family life. With my mother recently having a manic episode, I’ve established how important mental health is too.

So, in order to maintain my mental health, I’m trying to minimise excessive stress. I’m exersising more (Thanks to Wii fit and having to walk to Uni multiple times a day), and am planning to bring in more fresh fruits, vegetables, good meats and vitamins into my diet. I’m spending more time with friends and classmates, which I personally need to do: I can’t be living in a country for the rest of my life without friends.

I’m continuing with my diet too. It’s lapsed a bit since being in Sydney, but thankfully I didn’t gain much weight, if any.

I now have a proper goal to reach. I’m determined to lose another 10kg minimum. another 15kg at max. I need to tone up. I need to gain muscle and lose fat. My goal is to be this way by November. Why November? Well, it’s highly likely I’ll be going on my dream world trip with my parents and brother at the end of the year, and I want to be my best.

I’m glad that Wii fit records my weight, BMI and achievements every time I play. It’s a constant reminder that I am aiming for something, and seeing the chart go up rather than down is very disappointing. Here’s hoping from here on in I can make that chart travel downwards.

I’ll be updating more regularly too. :) I need it.

I totally forgot to add my stats and I don’t know how to go back and edit my last entry..

Anyway, I’m 5′3″ and I weigh roughly around 170. I’d ideally like to be in the 130s.. We will see. Honestly, I want to look ok naked..

I have been meaning to blog on this piece for a while. I am a member of Lavish.nu and found out about this website there. I think it’s great to be in a group support setting when trying to lose weight. :) I have been on a little diet for a while, but decided to get down and dirty and really get dedicated. It’s been about a week. I don’t think I’ve lost weight so far, but I’m definitely on the right track. I’ve been trying to eat healthy and exercise.  So, yes! We are trying. Cheer me on!!

I’m Kasie, btw.

Wow, this was like just the kind of “support group” I’ve been looking for. My name is Sara  [sentx3jnt on Lavish btw] and I just signed up today! Hopefully reading other’s blogs and talking to you all will help me stay on track. That’s my biggest problem, I can never absolutely stay healthy and fit. I think the only time in my life where I wasn’t pigging out and I WOULD exercise everyday was last school year, between the months of September and January? Yeah, I was on the basketball team, with practice 6 days a week, and absolutely NO soda! After basketball ended, I fell out of sync. Track was my next sport, but I was a thrower [shotput & disc] so we never really had to run. Grr, this helped me get lazy again.

So here are my stats, as of today I am 5′9, 185.6 lbs [which is an iffy number, since it's the middle of the day]. I do know for sure that I am over 180 lbs. Since summer started, and I actually started to pay attention to my weight, I’ve gained *tear, almost 10 lbs! During basketball season, I lost weight and maintained a healthy 170-175 lbs, and I was okay with that. With track I gained about 2 lbs, so I was maintaining 177 lbs from the beginning of track [January] to the ending of school [July].

Lately, I’ve been trying to eat healthy. So far I’ve been pretty good with that. I don’t drink soda, and I try not to get a second helping. But watching what I eat can only do so much. I am going to try and do my ab sessions, and run/jog at least 5 times a week, if not everyday. My goal is really just to get back down to my 170-175 lb range, by the end of August or middle of September.

Gosh, that’s a lot. Sorry, but I guess it’s kind of my way of “venting” about my weight. I really look forward to blogging as much as I can and hopefully with all the support from everyone I can reach my goal. I am also happy to be here to help people with theres. This is such a good website! :D

I have been…remiss at updating, well, everywhere.

236.8. I am hoping to be 235 or below before I leave for Disneyland on Friday.

The weight loss has been slow, but it IS coming off. I’m just trying my best to eat healthily, and exercising regularly.

I don’t know how many people track/journal their weight loss, but I ordered myself one of these from amazon.com. I generally track in my head, but I read this article that found people who keep a food diary lose twice as much weight as those who don’t. Also, I am a tiny bit anal, and like to track that stuff. I like this book because it has space to record everything I’m interested in tracking about what I eat - calories, fat, fibre - as well as water, supplements, and exercise. It got really, really good reviews, so I hope I’m happy with it.
